About the course

This class is unique because it is specifically designed to teach Biblical Hebrew from a Latter-day Saint perspective. You will gain the skills to confidently read the Hebrew text and understand how it works, while deepening your scripture study in meaningful and faith-building ways. By the end of the course, you won’t just recognize Hebrew letters — you’ll know how to thoughtfully and confidently dig deeper into the scriptures with greater understanding and insight.

Heather Farrell 

Heather Farrell has a degree in the Bible and the Ancient Near East from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. While studying there, she and her family (including 6 kids) lived in Jerusalem for two years. She is the author of the website Womeninthescriptures.com and has written four books about the women in the scriptures. She currently teaches Gospel Doctrine in her Ward and LOVES the Old Testament. She is excited to help you dive deeper into it!
